1. What is E92? 

E92 is code name of a lineup of automobiles for the BMW 3 series sedan that was produced and sold during 2004 - 2011. First models of that period were 4-door sedans (or saloons) E90 that were released in 2004 that took place of E46. The coupe (E92) and convertible (E93) versions were unveiled in 2006. E90 sedan was replaced by F30 in the year 2012, while the 2-door models last until they were replaced by the completedly new 4 series in 2013. All the E9X models fall into 2 phases: pre-LCI and LCI (pre-facelift and facelift). E90 sedan and tourer (E91) share same grilles & bumpers. Below are pictures of pre-facelift E92 and facelifted E92. Both pre-LCI & LCI share same spoilers, front bumper lips and rear diffusers.
